FVNP,
Thank you all for making the January meeting our most attended event! We had 63 attendees which was fantastic. I also wanted to give a special thanks to our waitress Shannon at the Pomegranate Cafe she took care of everyone pretty much by herself. I talked to Costas the owner of the Cafe and he agreed we need to move to the main part of the restaurant. We will be taking over the restaurant for our next meeting in February- just in time because Jacqueline Camacho-Ruiz will be our next speaker and she brings in a crowd.
One of the highlights of the event was when I asked "how many people have made a business connection through the FVNP breakfast?" I was stoked to see 16 people raised their hands. That is our goal- to bring people together in a positive atmosphere of collaboration. Good stuff.
Another highlight was the number of charities and non for profits in attendance- NCO Youth and Family Services , The Compassion Group , Moose Charities, Pregnancy Information Center and the Northern IL Food Bank.
Congratulations to-
Sally Rutledge-Ott Vice President of the Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce she recently won the Leader of the Year Award from the Dynamic Professional Women's Network and finished as finalist for Mentor of the Year.
Kate Armbruster, the hardest networker in the fox valley (my nickname for her)- she has started working for Konen Insurance . Congratulations Kate!
Attached is the attendee list from the last event. If your name is not on the list please email me and I will adjust it. bwin@imprint-e.com
